~ Our Success Stories ~

In September, shortly after Hurricane Katrina ravaged our area, we received a call from a lady who had found two Chihuahua puppies in the ditch in front of her home. She knew one was injured and they both appeared to have mange. We picked them up and the vet confirmed mange and the little female had a broken pelvis and femur. After weeks of treatment, the little male has found a "furever" home!

In early December, 2005, "Peanut" found a forever home in Slidell, Louisiana with his new Mommy, Kaitlin. We don't know who's the luckiest of the two, just look at these pictures! Congratulations Peanut and Kaitlin!

It will be a very Merry Christmas for Peanut!
